The Hull Hip and Knee clinic provides quick, effective assessment and treatment of hip and knee problems.

If you have hip or knee pain, we can see you in the clinic within a week of enquiry. Treatment, such as an injection, may be possible on the same day.If surgery is needed this can be arranged within a month.

When you are seen in the clinic you will see an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon who specialises in hip and knee surgery.
He will assess you and recommended either further tests or immediate treatment.

Arthritis
Meniscal (cartilage) tears
Ligament injuries
Overuse injuries

Treatment may be non-operative or surgical
Non-operative treatments may include medication, physiotherapy or injections.

Surgery for Knee conditions and knee pain would normally involve:
Total Knee replacement
Partial (half) knee replacement
Patellofemoral (kneecap) replacement
Knee arthroscopy (keyhole) surgery
Surgery for Hip conditions is most commonly a Total Hip Replacement but other options are available

The consultant will discuss the options with you and you will decide together what the best treatment plan is.
